The Sony Xperia Z ultra android smartphone with a 6.5mm thickness is now available in India for Rs. 44,990. This handset is powered by quad core processor clocked at 2.2 GHz and is water resistant and dust proof.
Xperia Z ultra sails on Android 4.2 Jelly bean OS with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. You can use external storage card of up to 64GB. The Z ultra houses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor that is clocked at 2.2 GHz (Krait) coupled with Adreno 330 GPU.
The TFT touchscreen with shatter proof / scratch resistant glass is 6.4 inches supporting 1920×1080 pixel resolution with 16M colors. Camera is of an 8MP on rear and a 2MP on the front. The rear camera is auto focus – without LED flash. Full HD recording is supported.
The handset is water resistant (IPX5/8) and dust proof (IP5X). It's a singe SIM handset and the weight is 212 grams. Other features are 3G (42Mbps), 2G, Wi-Fi (a/b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and NFC. Battery is 3000 mAh that gives up to 14 hours of talktime on a 2G network.
Z Ultra is available in Black, White and Purple colors. The handset is listed on Infibeam for Rs. 44,990.
