Tricks and few cool bugs in Windows 7

We know we like to find things hidden like loose coins hidden in Dad’s pants or maybe checking out any new Marvel movie looking for hidden stuff that would give us a clue on what’s coming soon. We love the mystery of it, and Windows has some hidden treasures as well. We know that Windows isn’t perfect, no program is. And these bugs err…..Easter eggs make the King of OS look like a Joker. Let’s check out these hidden goodies and maybe they may come out handy.
Let’s use our head first and try some basic math. Let’s check out a bug in Windows 7 calculator

Windows Calculator
Open calculator by clicking Start > Run or just type in the Search bar “calc”. quotation marks not included
Now compute this: type 4, and then take the square root by using the square root button. Of course, the answer will be 2. Now, subtract it from the answer (2).  Press the equal button.
What do you get now?
Calculator bugs in windows 7
Experts don’t have an explanation for this. This functional error maybe a bug in the design and this runs across all Windows version.

Telnet – Star Wars Trick
Long ago in a galaxy far, far away….computer nerds are rejoicing everywhere. With the use of Telnet or just any computer with Telnet can do this. We can check out the cmd line version of Star Wars: A New Hope. This is a bit of an oldie but will still send shivers and a single drool to any Star Wars maniac.
Head on to Control Panel, go to Programs, go to Programs and Features, then Turn Windows Features On or Off. And from the listing, tick the box right next to “Telnet Client”.
Next, open Command Prompt. Hit Run then type cmd. Click enter.
On Command Prompt, put these on the field: telnet towel.blinkenlights.nl. Enter
It will run Star Wars.

Old Styled XP ALT -TAB
Another pointless trick that we will run here but still a fun bug to do in Windows 7. Well, there is a bug in Windows 7 that would launch the old fashioned style of Windows XP’s ALT -TAB switcher. Your usual Windows 7 ALT – TAB is            huge, crystalline in design and almost stretches the whole screen. To which, the old Windows XP ALT -TAB is in all modesty: disgusting.
To do this:
Press down the Left (or maybe Right) Alt key.
Press and release the opposite Alt key
Maintain and keep holding down the first Alt button, and then press the Tab key
The old XP ALT – TAB design will appear.

Window’s Godmode
A neat trick for Windows 7 that’s been doing the rounds in the interwebs, is the Godmode. Godmode as Microsoft experts say is a term used to provide a window where you can access all the settings in Windows and thus you don’t have to browse any options or folders in Control Panel.
Make a folder. And rename the folder: GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}

It will show about  50 configurations and options with its quick links and will make life easier for you.
