How to play splitted movie of extension like .avi.001 Jan 15th 2013, 14:58 Recently I have downloaded a movie in avi format from internet that are splitted into several parts of extensions like .avi.oo1. When I play the movie in my media player (MPC), It only plays the first part of the movie i.e., .avi.001 part. I tried to play it in several media player but didn't get any success. After searching this issue on net I came across a software "HJ-Split" that made my work. HJ-Split can split and recombine avi file.   How to join avi files using HJ-Split: First download HJ-Split from their official site. You don't need to install it just run it after extracting downloaded rar file.Click here to download. Click on Join button. Now click on Input file and select first part of the movie i.e., the part having extension .avi.001. It will automatically select other parts. Make sure all parts are in same directory.
